DaShawn Ford: Founder and Executive Director
DaShawn Ford is the visionary founder and executive director of the HeartBeat Heroes Association. As a nationally registered and Virginia licensed Emergency Medical Technician, DaShawn brings invaluable field experience. He is also an American Heart Association certified CPR instructor, deeply committed to empowering others with life-saving skills. His passion for emergency medical services and healthcare is unwavering, driven by a desire to serve his community by saving lives and promoting health and preparedness.
Alphonse D. Ford, Ph.D.: President
Alphonse D. Ford, Ph.D., currently serves as the president of the HeartBeat Heroes Association, working in close partnership with the executive director to advance the organization's mission and growth. Affectionately known as "Al," he possesses a true heart of gold and is always willing to go the extra mile to help those in need. With over 60 years of experience in ministry, serving as a pastor, deacon, bishop, and financial advisor, Alphonse brings a wealth of wisdom and leadership. He has also served on the boards of various nonprofit organizations, contributing significantly to their success.
